Course Outline
The course revolved around the understanding of how a building is made and what all forces drive the building making process. The course helped in understanding closely all these processes and the decisions that need to be taken through the layers of detail.
Site and site forces with context
Design Intent and Spatial detail
The idea of building as a cabinet derived from the observations from the site where spaces would open and close throughout the day to create multiple transactions. For example, a cabinet besides the road opened up to become a shop throughout the day. A closed tempo became storage space for a road side shop etc. Such observations around the site helped in deriving the form for the design itself.
